From re-papering to product and service mapping, our Transition Team fully supports you and your staff until your clients are successfully transferred onto our platform. Our preparation typically begins well in advance to the date of joining Nationwide Planning Associates. Our Transition Team assesses your specific situation and prepares you for the transition process that best fits your business model.
Transition Strategy Formulation
Your Transition Manager (TM) will familiarize you with the steps of the transition process and answer any questions you may have. During this time, our Transition Team they will analyze your book of business and develop a transition strategy customized to your specific circumstances.
Once you've made the decision to join our team, we will begin the licensing process. Due to enhancements at FIRNA, we can electronically transfer your registration to Nationwide Planning Associates often in as little as one day.
During this time, you will decide on how you will get your client forms completed. You will also come up with a plan for how to notify your clients, a great opportunity to generate more business. Your Transition Manager will assist you every step of the way to ensure that your move goes smoothly.

Our Training and Education Department will schedule sessions with you to review topics including account transfer processes, where and how to submit business, compliance policies, and branch office set-up (if applicable).

Advertising & Marketing Materials Preparation
From business cards to stationary and specialized announcements, the Marketing Department will work with you to quickly produce compliance-approved marketing materials.
You will continue to familiarize yourself with Nationwide Planning Associates forms and records. Once you are issued your registered representative code, you will be able to send out all client forms to be signed, get referrals, create client files and generate business!
